The Value of Collaboration

Our project process is all about collaboration. Our staff, partner organizations, and fantastic donor community come together and complete projects that impact people's lives all around the world. Each step involves a partnership between the donor and those infield putting the donors' contributions to work. We believe this the most productive and impactful way of working in charity. Why?

Through collaboration:

Our donors are impacted by their giving and knowing what their giving has accomplished.

Our partners continue serving those in need and expand their influence by focusing on their mission and vision.

eMite is impacted by witnessing the generosity of our giving community.

Through our project process, we all focus on what we do best. One of our partner organizations said, "I so appreciate eMite's approach of not taking over, but rather coming alongside and determining how they can best support the organization and project they are partnering with." Some give, some do the work, and others document and report the result of that work. We believe taking out any part of the network would diminish the overall impact.

We use the knowledge and skills of people on the ground. We admit that we do not know what is best for the recipient. But our partner organizations do! By working day in and day out in the communities where they minister, they know the best and most necessary outreach—their long term presence in the communities where they work ensures the sustainability of our projects.

We are so thankful for our giving community who encourage us daily through their generosity. We are also tremendously grateful and humbled to work with some of the best nonprofit organizations around the world. It is an amazing experience to work hand in hand with ministries and givers that make such a valuable contribution to people's lives and our world.
