For Project 34, eMite has partnered with Samaritan’s Feet, an aid organization that serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to healthy living, both physically and spiritually, resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities. Over 1.5 billion people are infected with diseases that are transmitted through contaminated soil (World Health Organization, 2017). The mission of Samaritan’s Feet is to create a world with zero shoeless children.

In the United States, nurses report that shoes and socks are in the “Top 5 Items Schools Need You to Donate”.*

For Project 34 - Sole Gifts for Refugees, we are collaborating with the Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency and Catholic Charities to distribute 500 pairs of new shoes and socks to refugee families in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

The families reached will also receive a Hope Tote drawstring book bag that contains a new pair of athletic shoes, socks, hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, comb, sanitation wipes, masks, and washcloths), and a Hope Note with an encouraging message submitted online by individuals around the world.

Give Your Mite and Join in Project 34 Today and give hope and love to displaced families in need.

eMite is partnering with Samaritan’s Feet, an organization dedicated to providing shoes for families in need worldwide.

Samaritan’s Feet is a nonprofit that serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes. They believe that a new pair of shoes is the foundation of hope and opportunity for a better life.

According to the World Health Organization, in 2020, over 1.5 billion people were infected with diseases transmitted through contaminated soil. With a pair of shoes, this can be entirely avoided.

For our project, a group of 20+ volunteers will distribute 500 pairs of new shoes and socks to refugee families in Charlotte, NC.

With your support, we can reach our goal of $10,000 and contribute to creating a world with zero shoeless children!
