Project 10- SHoes and Food: 4/19/18
For Project 10- Shoes & Food eMiters will be touching 300+ children in Jakarta, Indonesia with protective shoes and nutritional food.
The boy wearing a blue shirt in the photo below cannot speak nor hear. His name is Cornel and when he received shoes from eMite this week he was so happy that he slept with the shoes on his feet. We love hearing stories like this!
The eMite Team has been in Jakarta for 4 days and has had the opportunity to touch 250 children! Tomorrow will be the biggest day of the trip and we are excited to hear the update.

Project 10- SHoes and Food: 4/12/18
For Project 10- Shoes & Food eMiters will be touching 300+ children in Jakarta, Indonesia with protective shoes and nutritional food.
The eMite Team based in North Carolina will be flying over to Jakarta this week! eMites partner organization Yapon Ministry has received 155 pairs of shoes and has successfully assigned each pair of shoe to a child. Once the eMite Team arrives the shoes and food will be passed out to each child.

Project 10- SHoes and Food: 3/30/18
eMiter's we have an update on Project 10! The sample of the shoes the kiddos will be receiving is below.
Lack of foot protection can lead to infection through cuts and scrapes; as well as hookworm which affects around 576 to 740 million people worldwide. Sickness can eventually lead to the child no longer being able to attend school.
