The village of Gola Chefe in the country of Ethiopia does not have a source of clean drinking water. Pure water does not flow through pipes in their homes or streams from fountains in their schools. For the people of Gola Chefe, water is a resource that must be obtained through significant effort. The hardship in acquiring water affects the people of Gola Chefe tremendously! It touches all aspects of their lives, including home, work, and school.
Imagine saving people from disease and sickness. Imagine transforming lives in a remote village of Ethiopia by providing access to Clean, Flowing Water.
That is the purpose of Project 20 - Well of Hope! eMiters, we are going to partner with Lifewater, an organization dedicated to ending the global water and sanitation crisis. We are going to dig a well in Gola Chefe and provide clean water, new hope, and a transformation to this community. You now have the opportunity to help children with their education, families with healthier homes, and even the whole community with more productive daily lives.
The mothers and children of Gola Chefe report walking up to 2 hours for safe drinking water and using pond water to wash clothes and for other non-food preparation tasks.
We encourage you to give the gift of hope this Christmas Season by sponsoring clean water for the families of Gola Chefe. Give Your Mite to Project 20 - Well of Hope - Ethiopia, give freshwater, and new hope to people in need!
Project 20 is in partnership with Lifewater.
